A classic Montessori stacking activity

The Pink Tower is a set of ten wooden cubes that decrease in size from largest to smallest. Children stack them in order, building a tower from base to tip.

Each cube is slightly smaller than the one below, so the tower takes shape as the cubes are added one by one. A cube placed out of order makes the tower lean, which gives a visible cue and invites the child to try again.

Simple to start, easy to repeat

The activity has no fixed end: children can build, take apart and start again at their own pace. The cubes can also be lined up on the floor, sorted by size, or combined with other open-ended play.
